HIQI Radio DOUBLE DOSE- June 21 & June 28, 2010

Radio station tech issues kept us from getting our routine back on the rails. Our heartfelt apologies. Behind the scenes post-production guru Ben Lawson is on the case and has got our last two shows live for you here... Enjoy.

Ps. Many thanks to our friends the Funk Bast*rd, Cosa Nostra and La Maison for a great weekend in Singapore. Check some of our collective throw-down on the June 21 show below...

HIT IT & QUIT IT June 14, 2010... BACK IN THE BUILDING

Crew, the blog has been noticeably left dusty the last few weeks. Chalk it up to world travelling (Recloose in the States, Booker in Oz) and a busy lifestyle. That said, it just ain't cool leaving you all hanging like this... with only our man Sam Harman's bad taste in jokes to keep you entertained (haaaaahaaaa).

Fret not, we're back and in full effect. Scroll down for the latest HIQI offering from Monday- lots of new tunes, world cup shit talk and of course the Monday night party vibes you've come to expect.

I'm off momentarily to Singapore to throw down with my good man and HIQI family member Dean Zhou aka The Funk Bast*rd. We'll be getting down tomorrow night at La Maison , its definitely on the short and sweet but very much looking forward to getting down with the crew. Check Funk Bast*rd's HIQI mix from 2009 here.

ALSO, be sure to tune in next week for my special 'Cosmic Car' mix to hip you to our new night here in Auckland kicking off next Friday at Be Club (all things Detroit). I'll be including lots of drops from my recent pilgrimage back to the D and plus heat picked up on the way. More info on this here.
